Why Max Windsor
A Message from Max Windsor
Environment
2010 began a new decade, the second of this millennium. While most of us were relieved to see the close of the last decade with its disturbing events and hard economic times, there was much accomplished on a variety of fronts. Among these accomplishments was a worldwide initiative to further protect vital forest resources. Since Max Windsor is a producer of hardwood flooring, we are particularly mindful of where and how trees are harvested and of the efforts to sustain forests for future generations.
As a civilization, we are gradually gaining an understanding of how humanity and nature interrelate. Individuals, businesses, conservation groups and governments have nudged our collective consciousness into greater awareness of what each of us can do to protect what nature provides. The cornerstones of this effort include conservation, recycling and innovation. The movement, which took on great momentum during the last decade has become known, simply, asGreen.
At Max Windsor, Green is among our highest priorities. Others are product and service innovation, responsible corporate citizenship, and value to customers. These priorities are at the heart of our company’s culture. We are proud of what we do each day to advance this culture, recognizing that what is good for the environment is good for us, what is innovative and exciting attracts customers, and what we do to improve our communities and encourage our employees strengthens not only them, but us as well. The flooring industry has experienced rocky times of late. Home building and remodeling fell victim to the highly publicized difficulties which befell housing.

We want that choice to be Max Windsor, so it is our challenge to create the products you want to increase the value of your home and the joy of living in it.
Thank you for giving Max Windsor that opportunity.

Quality
At Max Windsor we know what great quality is based on: Establishing extraordinary standards and maintaining them.
We set the bar high knowing that in the long run we are no better than the product we sell. We are unreasonable with ourselves, recognizing that terms such as “industry standards” and stock mantras like, “That’s the way everybody does it,” are inadequate for those who choose to lead the field in quality. We prefer our own standards and ways of doing things. For instance, our rate of claims due to substandard product is less than one-tenth of one percent, compared to an industry average of just over 2%. This is our proudest statistic.
There isn’t anything complex about sustaining a 99.9% norm for customer quality satisfaction. It begins and ends with wanting to. It means that we pay a little higher price for the best wood and other raw materials.

It means discarding or downgrading suspect product rather than taking a chance in selling it into the market. Our inspectors aren’t paid to close their eyes, and their call on quality is the final word in our factory.
We are proud of our products and realize that it is their inherent quality which encourages our Max Windsor Authorized Dealers to recommend our brand above others. We have earned the trust of consumers and they have shown their appreciation for Max Windsor Floors by urging friends and neighbors to consider our flooring. We compete not just in price, but in the real value of the great floors we make.
When you are ready for new hardwood flooring, specify Max Windsor. We won't let you down.
